FENOXA SUPER

Weeds have been great irritant to farming since centuries. This need arose requirement for special chemistry & hence weedicides were invented for farmers to maximize their crop production by eliminating or reducing weed populations amongst their crops.

Soyabean, Paddy (Transplanted), Black Gram and Cotton can be impacted by various weeds namely: Echinochloa colonum, E.crusgalli, Eluesine indica, Digitaria spp, Echinochloa sp., Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Eragrostis minor.
These highly sensitive crops need constant eye to keep out the various weeds.

Fenoxa Super is a selective herbicide containing Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl 9.3% w/w. It belongs to Group A of HRAC and primarily inhibits the synthesis of fatty acids hence inhibiting cell growth. It is used to control narrow-leaved weeds of soybean, paddy, black gram and cotton.

Pack sizes: 100ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml.

Mode of Action

Nissan Super is a chemical which has been classified under Group A of Herbicide Resistance Action Committee (HRAC) i.e. their site of action is Acetyl COA Carboxylase (ACCase). It contains Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl as active ingredient which is quickly taken up by the leaves and stems of the grassy weeds. Inhibition of fatty acids synthesis presumably stops the production of Phospholipids used in building new membranes required for cell growth by disturbing cell growth, it quickly stagnates the weed’s development ultimately killing out.

Recommendation:

Dosage: 440 ml in 100-120 ltrs of water per acre
Time of Application:
Soyabean: When weeds are in 3-4 leaf stage or 15-20 days after sowing.
Paddy (Transplanted): When weeds are in 2-3 leaf stage or 10-15 days after sowing. Black Gram: When weeds are in 3-4 leaf stage or 15-20 days after sowing.
Cotton: 20-25 days after sowing.

Method of Application

- Plant protection equipment: Knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle is recommended.
- Preparation of solution: Add slowly the required quantity of weedicide to water and stir well with a stick or rod.
- While preparing large quantity of spray solution, add weedicide solution to a bucket half-filled with water, stir and empty this prepared solution into bulk of water.

Safety recommendations

- Keep away from food stuff, empty food stuff containers and animal food.
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
- Avoid inhalation of the spray mist; spray in the direction of wind.
- Wash thoroughly the contaminated cloths and parts of body after spraying. - Do not smoke, drink, eat or chew while mixing and spraying.
- And wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
- Antidote – No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.
