PRATAP 25

Ergosterol is found in cell membranes of fungi, serving many of the functions cholesterol servers in humans.

Fungi cannot survive without ergosterol, thus stopping its synthesis is an important way to control fungicides.

Pratap 25 is a systemic fungicide of Triazole group with a broad range of activity. It's a broad-spectrum systemic foliar fungicide for the control of a wide range of leaf and stem diseases in cereals.

Mode of Action

Propiconazole inhibits ergosterol production, which is critical to the formation of cells of fungi. This obstruction slows or stops the growth of fungus, effectively preventing further infection. Thus, propiconazole is fungistatic (growth inhibitor) rather than fungicidal(killing).

Method of Application

- Take small amount of water & add required quantity of product slowly.
- Stir the solution well with a stick or rod.
- Add this solution with the remaining quantity of water and stir well.
- Spray uniformly using sprayer.

- Do not spray during Foggy climate.
- Use clean water for preparing spray solution.
- Use the correct equipment for spraying.

- Keep material away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.
- Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying. - Take bath properly after application.
- Wash hands thoroughly after handling this product.
