Shotgun 802 is a new formulation of granular micronutrients that offers several improved fea- tures over conventional micronutrient sources. It is a unique, micronutrient fertilizer that deliv- ers agronomic and economic benefits, and provides excellent handling characteristics. It plays a key role in a diverse range of plant functions including cell wall formation and stability, main- tenance of structural and functional integrity of biological membranes, movement of sugar or energy into growing parts of plants, and pollination and seed set.

Shotgun 802 provides a cost effective method of preventing boron deficiencies which adverse- ly alters the formation of plants apical meristems and flowering.

Mode of Action

Sulphur is required for many metabolic activities for plant growth and development and boron play vital role in sprouting, plant growth and tuber enlargement. The availability of boron in soil is affected considerably by soil pH. Boron deficiency affects vegetative and reproductive growth of plants, resulting in inhibition of cell expansion, death of meristem, and reduced fertility.

Recommendation:

All agricultural crops i.e. Paddy, Cotton, Chillies, Wheat, Groundnut, Sugarcane etc. and horticul- tural crops.
Soil application: 10kg/acre.

Method of Application

- For the best results , Sulphur + Boron should be applied as both , basal dose and foliar spray at 30 and 60 days after sowing.
